Every year, my friends and I make a trip up to Starlight, Indiana to Huber's Orchard...we do a little wine tasting, pick some pumpkins, sample some more wine, maybe try some pumpkin ice cream or apple dumplings, sip a bit more of the vino, and generally enjoy each other's company and the beautiful fall colors! In years past, people have been known to terrorize the animals in the petting zoo, but I do not claim to be a part of that, and was luckily able to steer them clear this year! The first weekend of October proved to be the best available date for the largest group of people, so we made our way up in the afternoon hours...what happened from there was nothing short of my expectations - lots of fun with old friends!
