My dogs

My dogs are seriously my babies...honestly, one of them constantly is leaking from the mouth and/or anus, has a hurricane of hair around him like Pigpen from Peanuts, has a chicken-wing where his leg should be that requires regular meds and should probably have $1500 surgery (except it's not guaranteed to fix it), has chronic ear infections that produce nasty, smelly goo in his ear, food allergies that require specialty (read: exorbitantly-expensive) food, and smells so bad that it is keeping us from selling our house - and I love the little guy! The other one is an ankle-biting, ADHD, other-dog bullying, fart-machine, and somehow he is his daddy's pride and joy! Either we REALLY need kids...or we should NEVER have them! If we adore these things, our children will be god-like angels of perfection! Anyway, enjoy a few recent pictures of my 'babies!'

Huber's 2008

Every year, my friends and I make a trip up to Starlight, Indiana to Huber's Orchard...we do a little wine tasting, pick some pumpkins, sample some more wine, maybe try some pumpkin ice cream or apple dumplings, sip a bit more of the vino, and generally enjoy each other's company and the beautiful fall colors! In years past, people have been known to terrorize the animals in the petting zoo, but I do not claim to be a part of that, and was luckily able to steer them clear this year! The first weekend of October proved to be the best available date for the largest group of people, so we made our way up in the afternoon hours...what happened from there was nothing short of my expectations - lots of fun with old friends! Here's a sample of the fun in photographs:

Photo shoot with Krissy, Keia, and Brittany

So, last weekend, my sister, Krissy, and her friends, Keia and Brittany, and I drove out to the water front for a little photo session. What ensued were reenactments of some apparently-hilarious YouTube videos, a run-down of letters of the alphabet and all the boys we've collectively kissed whose names begin with those letters, a run-in with some firemen and "Tighty-Whitey," and a few photographs in between all of that! It was a gorgeous day, and I had some pretty hot models, so take a look at some of our favorites...
