2009 in Review

Well, 2009 is now behind us and I feel like I had a lot of fun Kodak moments in the last 12 months! With a new year (and new baby!) upon us, I am sure 2010 will bring many more opportunities for photography fun. I'm hoping to expand the photography business into an actual business and hopefully you will see more of my work soon! I already have 2 weddings planned for later this year and at least one major newborn session (tee hee!)...stay tuned for more to come and enjoy these photo favorites from 2009...

Race to the Finish

My hubby along with a couple good friends have been running the Triple Crown races in preparation for the Derby Mini-marathon in a couple weeks. Last weekend was the Papa John's 10-miler, and they all had great times! I am just impressed that they could run for that long!!! Gotta love the commitment in their faces...

I love babies!

And this little guy was stinkin' cute! He wasn't so keen on having his picture done, but I think we got some cute ones anyway! Plus, mommy says I can come back and take more any time - woo hoo! Did I mention that I love babies?!

Photo Books

So, after I did Steven & Julie's engagement shoot last month, she asked me if I would be interested in shooting their wedding in October - absolutely! So, as a little thank you (and because I want to give my "clients" a little something extra), I decided to surprise them with a guest book of some of the engagement photos. I tried touse the ones I know are her favorites, and I'm going to give it to her with the CD of images. Also, I had a coupon to Shutterfly for a free book (just paid for shipping!). It came yesterday in the mail, and my mom just about flipped for it! "What a fabulous way to incorporate the engagement pictures!" she raved...as if this was an original idea by me - hey, why not let her keep thinking that! Anyway, here are some pix of the book - I really like the way it turned out, and I can't wait to send it to Julie! Enjoy...

Race Day

Ask and you shall receive...Heather requested new photos, so here ya go! This was from last Saturday's big race. My honey came in at 24:24 - amazing! He is just so very handsome! And how about my good looking friends, too? They rock! I even got up at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday to go see this...policeman means business.
